THE SALON
The Salon is filled with agreeable sofas, crystal liquor decanters on silver trays, (orangeade for the temperate), a toasty fire in winter and ideas-on-fire all year round. It is the place to discuss: art, music, dance, theatre, movements, big ideas, little ideas, hem lengths, culture, and everything else of a general nature serving to float one's boat.

THE STUDIO
Have a seat on a pillow on the floor, and don't mind that naked person behind the drapery. The studio is the place to talk about our own art, call for collaborators, ask for or offer resources and tips, post notices of upcoming art events (art, music, everything!) and to always be making sketches in the margins.

THE LIBRARY
Here's where we get stodgy! The library (oh, smell all the pleather-bound volumes!) is where matters of literature; grammar, etymology and arcane words; research and history; and other such pedantic (in a good way) topics may be freely bandied about. Like a book or film discussion group, but not with your mum.

THE DINING ROOM
The footmen have carefully measured the distance between the chairs and the table, and they are all properly aligned. We may choose to stay in and dine by candlelight – or perhaps opt for a picnic of strawberries and champagne by the lake – but while we're here, feel free to post recipes, restaurant suggestions, anything and everything regarding cocktails and general musings on things edible

THE GARDEN
It's charming when in bloom, but we've also started to grow some of our own food. Isn't it progressive? In the garden, we can discuss actual gardening, as well as other topics domestic – home décor and its components' creation or purchase, making environmentally sound alternatives to everyday products at home, with what to dye one's hair and perhaps the antics of one's dust bunnies.
