How much is shipping?
To find out the cost of shipping for a particular item, click on the “Shipping” button while viewing the details of the item you are interested in. We ship by Canada Post Airmail (from Canada) and USPS Airmail (from USA) using the most economical price. Shipping is calculated on the lowest price, based on the number of packages (not number of items) to be shipped to you.
How is shipping calculated?
We endeavour to keep the cost of shipping and handling to a minimum. When you place an order at The Sarcophagus Store, our artists send your items directly to you. If you order multiple items from multiple artists, you will receive shipments from each artist. Shipping is calculated by adding up the shipping costs for each package (small, medium, large) from each artist. If you are purchasing more than one item of a particular size from the same artist, you will receive a discount on shipping on each additional item.
How can I find out the shipping costs for a specific item?
While viewing the details of any item in our store, click on the “Shipping” button to reveal the shipping rates for items of that package size.
If I buy more than one item, is there a discount in shipping?
Yes, provided those items are from the same artist and are the same size. For example, if you buy 3 small items from Artist “A”, you will pay shipping on the first item, and a discounted amount on the second and third items.
Are shipping costs combined if I buy more than one item?
Yes. We combine (and discount) shipping costs on items of the same size from the same artist.
Where are items shipped from?
To keep our shipping costs to a minimum, our artists ship directly to you. Currently, our artists live in Canada and the USA. When you click on the "Shipping" button while viewing the details of any of our items, the country it is shipped from will be displayed.
If I order 2 or more items, will they arrive at the same time?
Yes and no. If you order more than one item from one artist, then yes, all your items will arrive at the same time. If, on the other hand, you have ordered items from different artists, you will receive shipments from each of those artists. They will likely arrive close to the same time, but they will arrive separately.
How long will shipping take?
The RSS and our artists are alerted as soon as your order is placed. Artists will ship within 5-7 days using Canada Post Airmail and USPS Airmail. (Please note: For made-to-order items and during peak periods, some items may take up to 10 days for our artists to produce and ship.) Depending on your location, shipping takes approximately 1-2 weeks. Please enquire with Canada Post and USPS to confirm their shipping timetable for your location.
How do I purchase shipping tracking?
To purchase additional tracking, please make a note in the comments field on your order. To request an estimate of this additional shipping cost, please contact us before placing your order. (Note: we will be enhancing our system to automate tracking soon).
How do I purchase shipping insurance?

If my item is damaged when it arrives, who do I contact?
If your item is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately using the Contact Us Form or by replying to the order confirmation email we sent you. Please make sure to quote your original order number and to note which item(s) have been damaged. You will receive further instructions from us by email.
Can I return items? If so, how?
We accept returns and will refund your payment in full (less the Paypal/Credit Card transaction fees) after we have received your returned items. Due to our low shipping costs, we must ask you to pay the shipping to return your item(s) to us. Please contact us BEFORE returning your item(s) using the Contact Us Form or by replying to the order confirmation emails we sent you. Make sure to quote your original order number for our reference.
Can I pay in Canadian or US dollars?
Yes. We accept payments in Canadian and US dollars.

How can I see the current status of my order? How can I look at my past order(s)?
To view your current (or past) order, Login to our store and click on “My Account”. Then, under “My Orders” click on “View the orders I have made”. You will be able to see the status and details of your order(s).
How will I know when my items have been shipped?
You will receive an email alerting you when your items have been shipped. At any time, you may also login to our store and view the status of your orders under the “My Account” section. Orders with a status of “Shipped” have been shipped.
Do I have to pay customs duties?
We ship from Canada and the USA to all parts of the world. Duties and local taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the customer and will not be paid by The Sarcophagus Store. If you are unsure about duties in your country, we suggest contacting your local Post Office for more information.
